When young people marry, they are filled with joyful expectations. So it was in the life of the Polushkin couple. They were eagerly waiting for their first child. On the fifth month of pregnancy they were shocked by unexpected bad news. They could fall into despair, but they chose another way...
After ultrasound test doctor told Dasha that she had a tumor of about 10 centimeters long. The young woman began to go through oncology tests. The tumor kept growing and in two weeks it doubled in size. The tumor threatened not only the child's life, but also her own life since they found out that it was a cancer.
Dasha had to go through surgery, where they removed the tumor with her left ovary. The wound was quickly healed, but the scar turned into a lump. Tests had shown that this was also a cancerous tumor. So at 8th month of pregnancy, doctors decided to do a cesarean section. Metastases began to spread to other organs, including her liver. It was a 4th stage of cancer.
Dasha's husband was very concerned. It was hard to believe that such evil is happening to them. According to physician's evaluation, his wife had only few months left to live. The doctor prescribed chemotherapy and advised to buy a wig. The young woman cried all night. In the morning she had to go through a very painful treatment.
"We prayed for every dropper, may so that the treatment may bring no harm, but only what is good. After the first stage of treatment, the doctor strongly advised to move on to the second stage. We wanted to stop chemotherapy and to do the tests again, " Daria recalls.
The couple did not give up. As people of faith they decided to have hope in God and to refuse to go through another chemotherapy. At that time they were seeking God and prayed that He would give them strength to pass through this test. As Dasha says, she asked God about every step she needed to take for healing.
"All the walls at our house were covered with places from Scripture, which I constantly proclaimed with faith. These words have become my personal encouragement," Dasha says.
Dasha and her husband took the Bible, which they received as a gift at their wedding, and proclaimed that their whole family would serve God. The local church constantly prayed and fasted for the healing of Dasha. Very often they received phone calls of encouragement from their brothers and sisters. After several months of prayer and faith, Dasha came to the hospital for another test.
This victory has been confirmed by medical documents. "When we went for the test, we already knew that we have been healed and we would not agree to any other result," the happy husband adds.
God completely healed the young woman from cancer.
