What can you expect from street children? Artem Polushkin grew up in an ordinary family, he liked boxing and soccer. His mother raised him and his brother without a husband. As he grew up he received less care and he was spending time with his friends wherever and whenever he wanted. As the result of absence of parental attention he began to be involved in smoking, alcohol and, finally, drugs. His life revolved around this addiction.
"I thought I would only try once and then I would keep it under control. At first, drugs brought pleasure. I had to get a dose by any means. I didn’t even care that they can put me in prison, " Artem says.
Having committed a number of crimes, Artem was sentenced to four years in jail. He wanted to change his life, tried to find a way out, but to no avail. While in prison, the young man wondered what he would do when he gets out ...
During this time, Artem's mother came to God and became a Christian.
Therefore, he began to read the Bible in prison.
After he got out of prison, he returned back to his home and plunged back into the old way of life. One day, being alone, he began to think about what he had heard of God. A voice came to his mind:
"This was a hand of help for me. At that moment I realized that if I did not come to the church, I would die", Artem recalls.
When he came to the church service, he could not wait for the call to repentance. That day he received Christ and was delivered from drug addiction.

For three years Artem Polushkin has been living a new life without drugs. He is married, has a small child and regularly attends a church. His heart is infinitely grateful to God for salvation.
